The role of a coach

Our role as business coaches is to help leaders improve their businesses through guidance, support, and encouragement. We are experts at implementation and will help speed up the attainment of business goals. We help leaders understand the changes that must be made to achieve their goals and help them make these changes in an effective manner.

Our approach

Our work consists of a combination of learning, strategic planning, private CEO coaching, and leadership team development. Our main client is the CEO, but we work with the entire leadership team to develop a strategic plan and to ensure the execution of the plan. As the changes that are called for normally take months, if not years, to fully implement, we ask you to commit to working with us for a year – you can opt out at any time if you don’t believe we are delivering value. If you engage us, we will:

  • Meet with you and your team to learn about your business, your goals, and your issues
  • Work with you and your team to crystallize your goals and develop an execution plan to attain those goals,
  • Help you and your team develop stronger relationships and create the alignment necessary to implement your plan, and
  • Meet with you (in person, by video, or by phone) at regular intervals to update your plan to keep it fresh and vibrant.

Our standard program

Our standard program consists of coaching services for the CEO and the leadership team to implement the Metronomics System (also known as the 3HAG Way Strategic Execution System). The meeting and coaching frequency is as follows:

  • We start with a one-time, two-day kick-off meeting with the entire leadership team
  • We meet each quarter with the entire leadership team for one day (two times in the first year and three times in subsequent years)
  • We participate in 8 half-day monthly meetings per year (in-person or by video)
  • We have weekly 60-minute calls with the CEO
  • Prior to the start of each fiscal year, we meet for a two-day annual planning meeting with the entire leadership team

During our engagement, all team members will get free access to the Metronome Growth Systems software platform.
